A vintage, 26 inch necklace from Zanzibar Tanzania. The necklace is made of beads carved from sea shells and is circa 1940.

This necklace was a part of a collection of a Swiss diplomat that was amassed over a 40 year period during his tenure in Africa from circa 1930 to 1970.
