A vintage African necklace from the Rega people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The 32 inch necklace includes antique Italian Murano beads, carved stone and ivory beads. The Rega tribe, also known as Lega, is found in the Kive province of the Congo.

This necklace was a part of a collection of a Swiss diplomat that was amassed over a 40 year period during his tenure in Africa from circa 1930 to 1970.
