vintage item::

A vintage, 1960s, op art period vintage womens dress. The dress construction of quilting two different fabrics to create an op art effect is similar to that of Rudi Gernreich. The wool dress is in a brilliant shade of red & yellow wool. It is a size 46, however, this is a vintage 60s size and it is more like a 8 to 10 in today's sizing. However, it depends on how loose or tight one wants to wear the dress. So, it could fit a 12 based on this. Please consult measurements: across shoulders - 17 inches, across chest 18.5 inches, across waist - 15.5 inches, Hips across - 20 inches and total lenght is 49 inches. The dress is labeled "Grieder" and was sold at the Zürich Switzerland store, Grieder; the equivalent Bonwit Teller in the 60s. 

Condition: there is a very light faded strip at right shoulder, probably from hanging with this side outwards and there is a pin size hole at back edge of dress.
