"Variations on Themes" is a new label created by Quintessentia.com. Each still life is a composition of objects that we think fit together. We find so many wonderful objects and want to share our enthusiasm for combining objects to display in the home. Each still life is a unique assemblage of artefacts that might cross genres & styles and in our opinion work together.

Two fiery glazed, 1930s Swiss studio pottery vases were sourced to create still life 10. The simple shapes are perfectly juxtaposed by the polychrome, thick, drip glaze. The larger piece is 8 inches tall. One has a small glaze flake, otherwise, both are in very good condition.
