A pair of French art deco lamp / lanterns. The 32 inch tall and 15 inch square lamps once stood on pedestals on either side of the entrance to a villa in the south of France. The lamps have restrained, refined elegant art deco lines.

They are constructed from iron with opaline glass panels. All panels are present. Some have chips at bottom which are not visible when in use. One pane has a 5 inch chip at the top. There is also some surface rust and one is missing a small ball shaped screw at the top.

They are a perfect piece of art deco lighting design with a slight shabby chic, pure quality. They would fit in any part of the home where a pair of sleek, chic, eye catching lamps are needed. Regardless of design scheme: antique, Knoll style, or Jean Michel Frank / Eileen Gray influenced design, these lamps could easily lend a bit of functional glamor to the space.
