A pair of 1930s, Bauhaus influenced, Swiss studio pottery vases. The hand-crafted, terra cotta vases feature an incised line that spirals up and around the entire vase. This discrete decoration is a harmonious accent to the perfectly shaped forms. The vases are 8 inches tall and from the now defunct, Bodmer pottery atelier. The vase are extremely well crafted and reveal a thoughtful, if not, intelligent approach to pottery creation. They are both in very good condition.
