When one actually plays with the Quadrigo and experiments with the infinite creative possibilities of these building blocks, it is clear that the toy was designed by a philosopher who loved to play, Jean-Philippe Rossinelli. The toy is intriguing in its simplicity. The four, hand carved building elements are painted a pure white. It is as if Rossinelli wanted to provoke the child or adult to let his or her imagination add the color and allow the senses to concentrate on and explore the way things move, change and dissolve.
