vintage item::

A Jean Prouve atelier design, 1950's, desk and chair. The chair and desk are made of laminated oak on bent, painted, tubular metal legs. The set was produced for the University of Nancy. The desk (29.5 x 27.5 x 19.5 inches) has a storage area under the top. The chair (seat height of 17.5 inches) is ergonomically designed; the seat is slightly curved and there is a slight indentation in seat to allow maximum comfort.  The table has light scratches in surface from use, there is a flat (0.2) inch chip at front edge of chair and small veneer seat at side.
