The baking form was produced by Schott & Jenaer, the German company that was famous for its avant garde glass designs during the Bauhaus era. The atelier was also the producer of works by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. This piece was a breakthrough in industrial design for the home and it is amazingly featherlight.
