A rare, prototype version of the 1950's chair designed by the Swiss architect, artist and designer, Max Bill. It was most likely produced by Horgen Glarus of Switzerland. Measurements are: total height of 30.75 inches, seat height of 18 inches and total width of 16.75 inches.

Max Bill studied at the Bauhaus Dessau under Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee and Oskar Schlemmer. After returning to Switzerland, he became a very important figure in the Swiss modern design movement creating architecture, art and furniture.
