A fantastic example of pure 1950s Swiss design. The design mirrors the "International Style" of architecture that was introduced by the Bauhaus. A sliver of glass is supported by a wooden table base that is made of sleek, geometric lines. The interior of the table is painted black and the glass is supported by tiny rubber supporters to give the illusion that the glass is floating. The table measures 16 inches tall and 65 inches wide. The lines are reminiscent of furniture that Jens Risom created for Knoll. It is in very good condition.
