A very rare example of studio pottery from Elisabeth Eberhardt. The 9.5 inch tall and 4.5 inch diameter vase exhibits a rare abstract glaze of blue and green with black lines framed with orange at rim and base. An interpretation of the motif could be that the blue represents the sky with the green representing tree leaves while the black lines are the branches. It is also important to note that the red clay is not a material that one finds often in Ms. Eberhardt's work. Other than a chip at base rim, the vase is in very good condition.
