A very important vase in the history of Elisabeth Eberhardt's work. The vase's form shows her early fascination with modern forms. However, the glaze coloring and the motif is a modernized version of traditional and historical Swiss pottery painting. At first glance, one could easily think that it is a piece of Thun pottery. However, the lines and the color intensity show that the designer had her artistic vision firmly placed in the modern 20th century pottery movement. The vase has glaze chips and is 7.5 inches tall and the overall width is 6 inches (including handle).
