A rare original 1920's, Bauhaus era chair from the Bauhaus designer and teacher, Marcel Breuer. The chair is made of bent metal and the seat and back are covered with its original Eisengarn fabric. This rare version is distinguished by the design detail that the cross bar at the front of the chair is mounted with two and not the usual one screw. It is a rare, seldom seen version of this chair. It is 32.5 inches tall, 17.5 inches wide and has a seat height of 17.5 inches. The fabric has some stains and the metal has patina. This is an original 1920's produced chair.
