A vintage, low back, bent wood, cantliever armchair designed by Alvar Aalto. This chair is circa 1940 and has a total height of 27 inches, seat height of 16.5 inches and total width of 23.5 inches. It is covered in a cotton velvet. The chair is in good condition with light wear to fabric and the wood has a warm, honey color patina. Alvar Aalto's designed have been marketed by the Wohnbedarf store in Zürich since the 1930's.
