A rare, vintage 1927 book published by the German magazine, "Farbe & Form" (Color & Form), celebrating 25 years of the Reimann school in Berlin. The Reimann school / Reimann Schule was a private school for applied and fine arts. It was started in 1902 by Albert Reimann who led the school until 1935. Its approach was similar to that of the Bauhaus and was known for its avant garde methods. Many of its teachers were important members of the Secessionist and the November Group. The school also opened its doors in the 30's as the first commercial art school in Berlin. The book celebrates all areas that the school taught and is richly illustrated with photos of works of students and teachers. It measures 12.2 x 9.3 inches, has 149 pages and the text is in German. There is a split in spine, otherwise, it is in good condition.
