A 1930's, Art Deco, Constructivist coffee / occasional table. The table is 21 inches tall and 35 inches in diameter. and is made of laminated birch or maple. The octagonal form with its strict angles and lines is representative of the constructivist design manifesto, "efficiency for its purpose", with a bit of the decorative influence from the art deco movement, especially visible in the surface of the table. It is in very good condition.
