vintage item::

A vintage 1930's, Bauhaus era, original Swiss design, portable bar / cart. The cart's design has been reduced to pure functionality and perfectly conforms to the Bauhaus mantra of form = function. The cart has two sliding shelves and rests on four wheels with spring action, allowing for easy movement when there are objects on it. The design is based on a cart designed by Max Haefeli for Wohnbedarf. This is also a great rare edition with its original paint which shows the strong use of color in Bauhaus & Art Deco design. There is some wear to paint in the upper surface at the corners, otherwise, it is in good condition. Measurements are 27.5 x 29.75 x 15.75 inches.
