A rare, 1920s Bauhaus era, child's building toy. The toy features 23 cubes and 11 wooden sticks with which a child could have countless hours exercising his or her imagination. The toy's design, especially coloring of blocks and pedagogic, fits perfectly in the Bauhaus ideal and in the spirit of Alma Siedhoff-Buscher . Each cube measures 1.5 inches square. There are some marks on the blocks from play. The original wooden box has wear.
